Since i have this installed, the connection Is interrupted frequently. It is unreliable and worthless for me

less complicated to get asteady conection every 5 min you get kicked out especialy when in the Uk. Other then that its a great App coz for 3,95£ a month for two devices you cant complain.

The product is great, however too often does not recognize the proposed hotspot. If it would always work as proposed, would be a 5 star! Update: I tried to renew my subscription which result in an error. So finally paid for nothing, completely unuseable right now and the support cant help, iTunes themself too.

I tried to delete and reinstall the app several times. I stained in contact with the Boingo Support Center by email. But the app is not working. Im not able to search for hotspots. And the list is always empty. If I try to search manually the app says that Im not connected to the Internet, but I have WiFi at home, or LTE on the way. The support was not able to help me.

Its a shame that I paid a fee in order to use the wifi that nevertheless did absolutely not work. The free wifi worked better than the one that cost money. Not a fun feeling being scammed in such a way.

The new version stops support for iPad 3. Such a simple app and stop support for a device which has all the hardware which is needed is more then a kick in the ass.

Are serious not supporting the 4S anymore?

You dont need this app, if you can remember your account name and password. Btw it doesnt work anyway.

Doesnt log-in properly and interferes with other WiFi finders such as the T-Online Manager.

Does not login properly most of the time and prevents the auto-login-window (ios) pops up to enter credentials directly! Please optimize this app immediately!

How are you supposed to find a hotspot if it is no possible to download the locations. I usually only need hotspots if I am abroad and if I need to use data roaming Boingo Hotspots make no sense at all. Furthermore the login mechanism does not work at all. Tried it at a few hotspots in NYC and on two German airports HAM and STR.

Waste of energy and money! Even in the middle of Frankfurt airport you get no connection, so far even in a hot spot I could never get access to Internet despite saying you are now connected. Total failure! Also it is draining the battery incredibly!

Do NOT Sign up for Boingo of you Plan to use this App and save yourself trouble! It connects you to available wifi spots but never logs you in. I am tempted to assume the "Whoops, something went wrong!" Message is hard coded...

This tool is blocking the login page display in Setting - Wi-Fi when you want to connect to a non-Boingo WiFi. Thus youre ending up with NO WiFi at all. Immediately uninstalled.

Good in North America. Expensive and restricted elsewhere.

The only way how to skip their expensive internet rates. Works just fine.

Cant find a hotspot unless you are already on one. Nothing outside major cities.

Using it in France and Belgium. I like the extra service capabilities ( Skype) that some free sites dont provide. One improvement would be for the app to remember and be able to display the hotspots in your region/area after going offline. So far so good it is working for me as I can Skype and place phone calls from Europe without getting gouged by the north American cell phone companies. Well worth the $8 US for the mobile plan!!! Thank you.

Really needs to be able to identify Boingo useable hotspots while offline, otherwise you can end up cycling through various WiFi providers looking for one that works. Either that, or the app itself should be able to cycle through all networks where you are to find one thats Boingo compatible. Then itll be worthy of more stars.
